Civilian Variable Fighter Test Pilot OCC

Not all Variable Fighter trained pilots are in the UN Armed Forces. Many civilians gifted as pilots apply to the many companies such as Shinsei Industries, General Galaxy, Shinnakasu, Northrom Grumman, and Stonewell Bellcom, to recieve training as civilian VF Test Pilots. These Mecha and VF design companies provide 3 year training programmes to train up civilians as pilots, (like Guld Boa Bowman,) taking only the best and the brightest. Unlike under the UN Armed Forces, civilian VF test pilots have the opportunity to learn VF mechanics and electronics and can assist in the physical and techincal design of the fighters they test, instead of just flight testing them. VF/Mecha design companies will not take anyone below the age of 18, and their strict 3 year training programme gives a starting age minimum of 21 for this OCC.

Wages, Rank & Experience
A Civilian Variable Fighter Test Pilot will make a starting wage of 3800 credits per month. Civilian VF Test pilots are not part of the military and thus do not hold any military rank. The Civilian VF Test Pilot uses the Variable Fighter Pilot Experience Table for Experience Levels.
